Tailored Training Package
We understand that not everyone has the time available or experience to train their own gundog.
In order to assist with this situation, we are able to provide a comprehensive training package on a residential basis for a limited number of clients.
We’ll discuss your specific requirements and put a plan together to achieve this.
Whatever your ultimate goal, we will have an effective training plan that we will adapt to your own specific requirements.
We have a ‘Puppy to Peg’ training programme, where we can even arrange to collect your puppy from your chosen breeder and start their training journey right from the beginning.
Alternatively we can provide residential training in planned increments that align with their development stages so that they live at home with you and then join us for planned intensive training.
Regular Updates
Depending on the length of the residency, we will provide you with regular training updates and your dog’s progress.
We will send a weekly written report and send you photos and videos of your dog completing exercises.
Tailored Training Package
On arrival all dogs are scanned and their chips are checked.
After a few days to settle we will begin their training journey.
After establishing solid foundations we progress their training and work towards effectively implementing the training plan and achieving the targets set.
Some elements of training covered include:
Focus/heelwork/steadiness/recall/stop/
retrieving/fur-feather-cold game/
directions/gunshot/launchers/
jumping/water work.
As well as formal gundog training, we train essential life skills including:
Manners/boundaries/socialisation/
travelling.
The options of both highly secure kennels or in-home stays are available.
As well as the regular structured training sessions, we ensure each dog that stays enjoys daily exercise and play sessions.
Weekend home stays can be arranged to both give your dog a little break and allow you to maintain your bond with them.
*Price doesn’t include food/vets fees.
Comprehensive Handover
On completion of your dog’s training, we’ll invite you to attend a training session where we’ll demonstrate everything that we’ve trained and the best ways to maintain that level and importantly how to avoid sliding.
This will be for around 3 hours on collection day.
We provide full support after training is completed. We have a secure ‘clients area’ page with demonstration videos and private groups on social media where you can share with other handlers and we can answer any questions. We are also available to answer individual queries privately via the usual contact details.
We also offer priority bookings for both 1-1 and short residential stays if required. Pre-season refresher stays are popular with many of our clients to fine tune their dogs for the season ahead.
